New Music 2010 is a new and exiting idea created by the Darvel Music Company to promote new and up coming bands though our new Myspace site (Lisa) and now our blog! (Me – Sofie)
What you need to do – If you’re a band/solo artist or any kind of music maker we want to hear from you by April. Send us your demo, bio anything you have. We want it all!
What we will do for you – In April, both Lisa and I will choose one artist each. The artist chosen will then receive help from us to manage and promote themselves and also 2 DAYS OF FREE STUDIO TIME! Along with playing at a concert featuring both chosen artists and runners up that will take place just prior to the 10th anniversary of the Darvel Music Festival in May 2011. We will do anything in our power to help the chosen artist and we will also follow you over a twelve-month period with keeping your fans and our fans posted online with your progress.
